Tips For Selling Your Home Quicker!

  1. Take care of the landscaping and remove any debris that may fall on your lawn from neighborhood trees.
  2. Remove the clutter! Home buyers tend to feel more comfortable in a home that is clean, streamlined and less cluttered.
  3. Take your pets to another location during showings of your home.
  4. Have exceptional photos of your home. Your Real Estate Agent will help coordinate a professional photographer to take photos of your home after any necessary repairs have been made.
  5. Clean everything! The open living space will be an obvious clean but remember the nooks and crannies of your home. It would help to think like a buyer when completing this step.
  1. Paint if necessary. Home buyers like to see a house with neutral tones. That way, they can easily visualize how they will make it their very own!
  2. Remove half of the items in your closet to show a potential buyer how much storage space your home has to offer.
  3. De-personalize your home. Walk throughout the house with your family and ask everyone to remove at least 3 personal items that could include: photos, personal keepsakes, toys, etc.
  4. Sell the kitchen! A good kitchen is always a must-have for home buyers so make sure that your kitchen is up to par. Do small updates need to be made? Does the cabinet hardware need to be replaced? Are there small appliances that can be put into storage?
  5. The first impression will set the tone. Make sure that your home is always show-ready and clean!
